• Endemic disease of worldwide range
• High morbidity and mortality
• Hard to diagnose paucibacillary and extrapulmonary clinical forms

Proposed Innovation:
• Molecular diagnosis is applicable to various clinical forms of tuberculosis
• Use of “NestedPCR” technique in a single tube
• Use of blood or urine regardless of disease clinical form

Differential:
• High specificity and sensibility
• Enables the early beginning of treatment
