Proposed Innovation:
Diagnostic kits that use polymerase chain reaction associated with ELISA

Differential:
• High sensibility and specificity
• Detection from various biological specimens
• Correct diagnosis of false-negative patients
• Used in the Schistosomiasis control program

Prototype
