Respiratory problems, malnutrition and death as a result of gastroesophageal reflux
Proposed Innovation:
- Chair to prevent gastroesophageal reflux
- Keeps the thorax elevated compared to the abdomen
- It can be used from neonatal period to the first year of life
Differential:
- For hospital and domestic use
- Keeps the child in an ideal position 24 hours a day
- Easy to assemble, accommodate and transport
- Adaptive to other kinds of apparatus like “infant seat”
- Enables different inclinations
