Proposed innovation

Larvicidal from tetrahydrofuran lignans

Differential

• Obtained by chemical synthesis or by extraction from plants
• 50% more efficient than chemical insecticides
• Strong action against the mosquito vector of dengue fever
• Does not lead to selection of resistant mosquitoes
• Possibility of combined use with other larvicides
